Our Specialties
Our main speciality is trauma treatment. Our talented clinicians are formally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) treatment, as well as Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) and Ketamine-Assisted EMDR (KA-EMDR), also known as Psycholytic Therapy.
What is Psycholytic Therapy?
Psycholytic Therapy uses a low dose of ketamine that is paired with intentional, evidence-based talk therapy interventions or EMDR therapy to deepen emotional processing and access parts of the mind that are not as accessible through use of more traditional therapy approaches. It results in more meaningful, and long-term healing. This approach allows clients to stay present, communicative, and emotionally connected throughout the session, which feels safe and manageable for the client.
Please note that Ketamine-Assisted Therapy and Ketamine-Assisted Psycholytic EMDR are offered in intensive formats only and incur out-of-pocket costs. These therapies require comprehensive evaluation for appropriateness for the treatment by one of our clinicians, along with a referral to one of our partnering psychiatric nurse practitioners.
Together this team will evaluate, make recommendations, and collaborate on your care.
